1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon mustard sauce 1 teaspoon Sugar 5 teaspoon vinegar 1 teaspoon butter salt to taste Cayenne Pepper to taste 4 cup whipped cream |
Put butter in a saucepan. Add mustard sauce, egg yolk, sugar, vinegar, salt and cayenne pepper.
Cook until thick, stirring constantly. When cold add the cream. |
French Dressing
4 tablespoon Olive oil
1 tablespoon Vinegar 1 teaspoon salt Dash of pepper Dash of paprika 1 tablespoon Onion Juice |
Put salt and pepper in a bowl, dissolve with vinegar or lemon juice, add oil slowly, and mix well. A little onion juice if liked.

Potato Salad.
8 Potatoes
1 Onion 1 Cucumber 1 cup walnuts 1 cup olives Mayonnaise Dressing |
Boil Potatoes and slice them (Allow potatoes to get very cold before slicing). Slice Onion and Cucumber. Mix them. Now add walnuts broken into small pieces. Add olives, mix with Mayonnaise dressing. refrigerate before serving.

Strawberry Sauce
1 Tablespoon flour
1 cup sugar 4 cup butter 2 cups boiling water 1 cup strawberry juice |
Mix flour, butter and sugar and beat lightly, then add boiling water, stir until the mixture comes to a boil and becomes thick, now add strawberry juice.

BANANA SALAD
3 Bananas
1 Cup Lemon Juice 1 cup Sugar 2 Tablespoons Sherry Leaves of Lettuce |
Prepare sauce of sugar, lemon Juice and sherry, mix them nicely.
Slice Bananas and put it in the prepared sauce, and let it stand for 2-3 hours. Chill before serving and place the lettuce leaves on it, and pour the sauce over. |
CHERRY SALAD
A cupful of Cherries
Peanuts Lettuce Leaves mayonnaise |
Remove the pits from the Cherries, and insert a peanut each in the cherries and thoroughly chill. Form cups of heart leaves of lettuce and place cherries over it . Serve with mayonnaise dressing.

BANANA SAUCE
CHOCOLATE SAUCE
2 Cups Milk
1 Teaspoon Cornstarch 2 squares of bitter chocolate 4 Tablespoons Sugar 2 tablespoons hot water 2 Eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla essence |
Heat Milk.
Make a smooth paste of cornstarch with little cold milk and add it to the heated Milk. Keep stirring while cooking. Take a saucepan and grate 2 squares of bitter chocolate and make a smooth paste, add sugar and hot water. Now add the cornstarch mixture to the chocolate paste, sugar can be added as per taste, remove from heat, now add beaten yolks of 2 eggs, vanilla essence and beaten whites of eggs at last. |
ARTICHOKE SALAD
3 Artichokes
3 Tomatoes 1 Tablespoon french Dressing 2 Tablespoon mayonnaise Lettuce Leaves |
Slice Artichokes, add sliced tomatoes and french dressing.
When ready to serve place on lettuce leaves and garnish with Mayonnaise. |
ITALIAN SALAD
2 Cups cold Macaroni
2 Cup Celery 4 Tomatoes 1 Cup Cheese 3 Cherry Peppers Mayonnaise Lettuce Leaves |
Cook Macaroni in salted boiling water.
Drain and rinse in cold water. Add celery, tomatoes and cheese. Serve on lettuce with mayonnaise and cherry peppers. |

Mix all the ingredients together. Italian dressing is ready.

GRAPEFRUIT AND POMEGRANATE SALAD
4 Grapefruit
2 Pomegranates 1 Cup French dressing 2 tablespoon Sugar 4 Tablespoon grated cheese |
Peel grapefruit, remove all fibre and seeds. Marinate for two hours in the French dressing, to which the sugar has been added. Place on crisp leaves of lettuce, sprinkle with cheese. Add seeds of pomegranates.

Slice all the vegetables. Combine lettuce, tomatoes, olives,
and radishes in large bowl. Mix dressing ingredients together and then toss with vegetables. Pour out into a shallow serving bowl and Crumble feta cheese over all |
Chicken Pasta Salad
2 boneless chicken breasts
3/4 cup steak sauce 1 (12 ounce) package fussili pasta 2 cups chicken stock 1 medium onion, diced 2 avocados, peeled and diced 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes 1 cup parmesan cheese or ranch salad dressing |
Marinate chicken breasts in steak sauce for 15 to 60 minutes.
Grill until done and chop into pieces. In a large pot of boiling water, add chicken stock and cook pasta until cooked. Drain and rinse under cold water. In a large bowl, combine chicken, pasta, onion, avocados and tomatoes. Add salad dressing, mix and refrigerate until chilled. Stir in additional salad dressing when ready to serve. |
Hungarian Cucumber Salad
2−3 cucumbers, sliced
2 teaspoons salt 3 tablespoons cider vinegar 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar 2 teaspoon paprika 1/4 teaspoon white pepper 1/2 clove garlic, minced 4 fresh green onions, diced 1 cup thick sour cream |
Add cucumbers in a bowl and sprinkle with salt, mix. Set
aside for 1 hour. Mix vinegar, water, sugar, paprika, white pepper and garlic, and set aside. Squeeze liquid from cucumber slices. Add vinegar mixture, green onions, and sour cream. Mix and sprinkle additional paprika over top. Chill for 1−2 hours before serving. |
